It is sad that businesses take advantage of emergency situations such as being locked out of your car with a child. I would not have given a single star but at least one was required to post.
If they ask for the make and model before they go out to you why can't they quote an accurate estimate? BECAUSE your in a bind and are stuck paying for the service call and the OUTRAGEOUS price they make up.
A complete dick over the phone
Horrible! It took an hour and a half for the technician to arrive even after I spoke with him and the manager several times. It cost $120 for a 3 minute job. Spend your money elsewhere.
The secretary (if you would even deem her that much) sounds like she just rolled out of bed, is completely miserable, and doesn't want to even work there. Then the tech had us waiting for hours, and kept giving us different times when he would show up and never show up. Please read the other reviews and steer clear of this "business." Hope the bad business beaureau gets wind of the terrible customer service and investigates everyone's complaints! And they wonder why small business are failing in this town.
Without any new information the technician told me that it would be $175 right off the bat, plus the $29 service fee. He already had his tools out and was beginning to work. When I called the business to ask what the heck was happening, I got transferred mid-sentence to a grumpy, defensive representative who clearly absorbs these calls all day.
On the phone very professional and helpful but WAIT til the technician gets out to you! The price jumps from reasonable to outrageous very quickly.
Yep - the previous reviewers are not wrong. It's a bait and switch and they know it. Shame on them.
I told them make and model, and they told me the service fee would be $29 and labor would start at $25 and up, depending on what was required.
